Last words from Ho Chi Minh City

The chaotic life in Ho Chi Minh. What can I say. I had no expecations coming here. I just knew it was a big city, and the capital of Vietnam. I learned that Ho Chi Minh is actually a person, a respected man i Vietnam who did a lot for his people.

I learned about the “war”, the bombing from the Americans, and that this country was a french colony.

Our visit to the War Museum was very interesting and an insight on what vietnameese people has been through and are still suffering from.

The War Museum was packed with tourists, all in silence, reading and looking at the pictures. The story from the beginning to the end.

Outside the War Museum, the city continue its chatoic lifestyle, with crouded streets, noisy and smelly with streetfood on every corner. Shops with electronics and cheap shoes and clothes are to be found all over the city. Motorbikes control the traffick and you have to risk your life whenever you need to cross the street.

We loved the great food, the colorful weird looking houses and experienced an atmosphere like no other cities!

Goodbye Saigon/Ho Chi Minh!
